The world moves forward by leaps and bounds. In order to maintain the balance of life and in ever-increasing competition and the perception of penetration into the world competition and progress – one has to cope with the dictate of time which becomes the most valuable commodity. Crucial role is played by the knowledge. I support this argument with my own experience and continually growing prosperity. That's why I'm convinced that:

I am positive about this because as the owner of a big enterprise – now a multinational corporation I.D.C. Holding, JSC – I can accurately demonstrate its annual growth in all key economic indicators throughout last quarter of a century. The company has undergone a total reconstruction; even in a difficult period of transformation from a planned to a market economy – and today it achieves the parameters of a world-class enterprise. As a result of the complexity of the theory and practice of entrepreneurship, the systematic growth of the corporation is multiplied over the years. I believe that this is a sufficient reason to share this experience and this is my ambition to make this publishing effort to create a:

MANAGEMENT edition is a set of 20 small-format books published in several languages. Books create a bridge between theory and practice and can be utilised by the company owners, shareholders, top and middle managers. It is useful for experts in various areas because its unifying aspect is the management as a discipline of a universal importance.
It will facilitate the study of complicated problems to the participants of the postgraduate study and retraining courses, the PhD students and the students of a higher form of education who are getting ready for managing positions or who want to improve management skills. Practical size of the books enables to study special topics, whether on a train, a tram or at doctor’s waiting room.
MANAGEMENT core is the internationally recognized Enterprise and Entrepreneurship pentalogy published in five languages in the publishing house of the Slovak Academy of Sciences in cooperation with foreign publishers and under the auspices of the European Academy of Sciences and Arts in Salzburg.
The work is enriched with experience of production practice. In the framework of systematic consultations and opponency, I relied on the professional experience of executive managers and employees of my own company, external staff and researchers from universities.
These books were based on 25 years of experience in the management of the multinational corporation I.D.C. Holding, JSC where – since its founding in 1992 the author still holds the highest strategic positions. At the same time, the experience gained from practice is the subject of scientific studies and is contained in the books of this edition.

Podnik prešiel totálnou rekonštrukciou a to aj v zložitom období transformácie z plánovej na trhovú ekonomiku a dnes dosahuje parametre podniku svetovej triedy.
